“If you want to camp in Glencoe, looking for a campsite but still want that wild feel then Red Squirrel needs to be your go to. Nestled away just off the road, this hidden gem is a beautiful example of a campsite done right”.
Reasonably priced with shower facilities no water or electric hook ups but fantastic location and with a river swimming pool.
Will be back again and again...oh how times change 🙁
My favourite place to camp in Scotland!
ALWAYS a great place to go for a couple of nights. Fab local manageable walks if you are not into munroe bagging whilst also accessible for those that do enjoy that. Fort William about 40mins away. Grab your logs from the fuel station as much cheaper. Don't forget your midge spray and swimmers for a refreshing dip in the clean river. Most folk adhere to quiet at night when we have been there. On some occasions there is a rabble from a fall out but that's just the joys of camping life. Separate camp area for younger families.
A bit pricey but the views are outstanding and campsite very well maintained. The toilets could do with a bit of updating. Staff are extremely friendly.
22 acres of wooded land set in beautiful Glen Coe, surrounded
by the mountains of Argyll and only 14 miles from Fort William.
